29 October 2026 | Paestum, Italy

Event

On 29 October 2026, StratiGraph will take part in the ECCCH Sister Projects Workshop, organised by the COLOURS project within the framework of the 28th Mediterranean Exchange of Archaeological Tourism (BMTA), in Paestum, Italy.
The event will bring together four projects funded under the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) initiative: COLOURS, StratiGraph, UNICHE and PlaceMUS XR.

StratiGraph – Knowledge Graphs for Stratigraphy is a Horizon Europe Innovation Action focused on advancing archaeological and palaeontological documentation and interpretation. Recognising stratigraphy as a fundamental element of archaeological methodology, the project uses knowledge graphs to represent the relationships between stratigraphic data and develops open, collaborative tools to support their collection, analysis and sharing within the ECCCH.

The workshop will provide an opportunity for the participating projects to exchange experiences, discuss common challenges and explore connections between their respective research activities and technological approaches.

For StratiGraph, participation will offer an opportunity to engage with other ECCCH projects working on digital tools and methodologies for cultural heritage documentation, research and conservation.

The programme includes discussions among the participating projects, a public session involving cultural heritage institutions and professionals, and live demonstrations in the ArcheoVirtual exhibition area.
